Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lagna iOS app and the lagna.com website (the “Services”). “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operators of these Services. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

This page is a plain-language placeholder for the website. It is not legal advice and has not been certified by counsel. Purchases in the iOS app are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

1. What Lagna is

Lagna is a classical Jyotish practice companion: sit and reflection on the Practice tab, plus a sidereal birth chart (kundli) computed on your iPhone. Content is interpretive and educational. It is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not predictive certainty. Japa is traditional recitation — not a remedy that changes the chart, and not medical treatment. You are responsible for decisions you make.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent where required). The Services are not directed to children under 13.

3. License & acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the iOS app (as downloaded from the App Store) and this website. You agree not to copy or reverse-engineer the app except as allowed by law, interfere with the Services, use them unlawfully, or present Lagna as professional advice or guaranteed outcomes.

4. On-device charts

Chart math runs on your device. Lagna does not operate an account server for chart calculation. Optional Premium Continuity may sync selected birth-chart profiles via your private iCloud, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for birth details you enter and for only using data you have a right to use.

5. Purchases

Optional Premium features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Payment, billing, trials, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and the Standard EULA linked above. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. We do not receive your full payment card number.

6. Apple

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these website Terms and is not responsible for the Services except as required by Apple’s own rules. Optional on-device features (including Apple Intelligence, when available) follow Apple’s terms and your device’s capabilities. Lagna is an iOS app; we do not currently offer an Android app.

7. Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Chart placements are computed from the birth data you enter; interpretations are not a substitute for qualified advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
